Ehud G. Mouchly, Owner of
READI, LLC
During more than 30 years in the real estate industry I have gained
much development, financial and management experience. I have been recognized for expertise in the
development, financing and management of large-scale mixed-use urban and
suburban projects, master-planned communities and retirement communities, both
domestically and internationally. More
recently I have worked on development of sustainable workforce housing
communities and employer-assisted housing projects.
READI’s current focus is on asset management, development and redevelopment projects. Earlier, I managed the West Coast office of UniDev, LLC – national developers of workforce and employer-assisted housing communities. Prior to my association with UniDev, READI was an Affiliate of SunCal Companies, the largest private developer of master planned communities in California. While with SunCal I was a member of the acquisition, entitlements and new projects start-up team.
Previously, I was the General Manager of the 1,900-acre Anaverde (formerly City Ranch) master-planned community in Palmdale, in North Los Angeles County, California. When complete, Anaverde will include 4,900 homes, commercial uses, parks and other community amenities. Earlier, READI was the co-developer and I was co-investor and principal of The Landmark at Lathrop, a 160-acre commercial mixed-use project in San Joaquin County, east of the San Francisco Bay area.
Prior to forming READI in 1999, I was Managing Director in the Real Estate Group of Price Waterhouse. In that position I was the leader of the firm's master-planned community and mixed use development initiative.
From 1980 to 1998, I was founder and principal of KMG (Kotin Mouchly Group), and its predecessors SKMG (1994-1996) and KRM (1980-1994), national real estate consulting companies. KMG worked on financial and management issues with developers, owners, investors, investment bankers, lenders, publicly held corporations and public sector entities. Activities included acquisition, financing, development and redevelopment, project management and disposition of real estate projects and portfolios.
During the 1970's I held senior management positions with Leisure
Technology and the Larwin Group, two national real estate development
companies. The Larwin Group was one of
the largest primary home builders in the
Also during that period, from 1975 to 1976, I served as Chief
Economist of Rio Negro New Town, near
